Privat on the Road

In the dual course, you start with basic practical basic course at the driving school.
You complete the main course with at least 1000 km with a private supervisor (mother, father, friend, etc.) in a private car.

Business course

In the full course, you complete the entire practical course with a driving instructor from the Drivecompany Schwedenplatz.
You can start your course at the age of 17 1/2. You can then take the practical exam from your 18th birthday.

Registration at the driving school

To register, you only need a deposit in cash in the amount of the respective theory course package of the booked driving licence class. The exact amount of the deposit depends on the driving licence category you are aiming for and can be requested from the office. Please also take your passport and the current registration form with you. If you pay for the complete driving licence when you register, you will receive both the book and our practice app with flashcards free of charge, saving you 100 euros.

All car course packages include the legally required driving lessons.

Theory course

The drivecompany.cc modular system makes training very easy. 16 theory modules (100 minutes each) are mandatory.

Practical training

Basic training (Pre- & basic training)
The legislator stipulates at least 6 teaching units for this. During pre-training, you will learn how to operate your driving school vehicle on our traffic training ground. During basic training, you will be introduced to road traffic in less frequented training areas.

Main course/ main education
This consists of at least 6 teaching units. Depending on your progress and ability in the area of main course, you can freely choose your further number of driving lessons . Your driving instructor (coach) will provide with support and advice.

The main course is the most important part of your practical driving licence course, for which the following content is prescribed by law:

commented driving
other traffic participants
knowledge of the roadways
Change lanes
Threading into the fast flow of traffic
Driving on crossways
Driving on shared roads
Driving on oncoming traffic routes
maneuvering through tricky traffic spots
Economical driving
Introduction to the rapid traffic flow
Train the seconds method for following distance
Performing overtaking maneuvres

After completing the main course, the legislator prescribes the final perfection course.

The perfection course and exam preparation
For perfection course and exam preparation, the legislator provides at least 6 teaching units with the following contents:
Behaviour
Cross-country trip
Motorway trip
Night drive
Exam preparation

B driving licence

Executive course

Course with a private instructor at a place and time of your choice.
The ideal course for time-constrained customers who prioritize convenience over cost.

Customised driving licence

Our offer for all those who have very little time and enough cahnge for the most individual training in Austria. A private trainer is available with a school vehicle at the desired time and place.

The course modules required for the certificate are held as intensive course modules of 100 minutes each (= 2 lessons) in privat lessons. 18 driving hours(incl. motorway & night driving) are included in the price. The driving lesson dates are individually coordinated with your preferred dates.
You have the possibility book driving lessons at any time.
For driving lessons after 4 pm and on Saturdays an overtime fee of € 7,- will be charged.
Your course success will be documented from the 1st driving lesson onwards in a picture folder, which is handed to you at the end of the course.
PC pre-examination takes place as an individual examination for your individual support.
The practical examination is also held as an privat examination.

Theory lessons

The theory course takes place as private lessons for an additional charge.

Practical lessons

On request, you can be picked up from your home and dropped off at home for an additional charge.

Dual course

In the dual course, you start with practical basic course at the driving school.
You complete the main course with at least 1000 km with a private supervisor (mother, father, friend, etc.)
in a private car. After that, you perfect your skills at the driving school.

We offer you two course packages for the dual course, each with a different scope of services:

practice drive – course

The 16 course modules for the B licence can be attended at any time according to the course schedule, whereby the order does not matter. Entry into our unique modular course system is possible at any time.
You can download and print out your personal course plan here on our website.
During this time, 6 driving lessons are to be completed with a driving instructor.
Afterwards, you and your companion will receive theoretical instruction (1 lesson) from the driving school, where you will also be issued with a confirmation for the authorities.
Self-training (at least 1,000 km) can start now.
Theory exam
The observation drive, perfection course and exam preparation (6 lessons) will be arranged after your theory test. After that you can take the practical exam!

The 16 course modules for the B licence can be attended at any time according to the course schedule, whereby the orderdoes not matter. It is possible to join our unique modular course system at any time.
You can download and print out your personal course plan here on our website.
During this time, 6 driving lessons must be completed with a driving instructor.
Afterwards, you and your supervisor will receive theoretical briefing (1 lesson) from the driving school, where you will also be issued with a confirmation for the traffic office.
During the theoretical briefing, your supervisor will also be given a module syllabus specially developed for practice rides!
500 km self-training
Accompanying course (review drive and meeting with exchange of information and advice, total 2 lessons). Your supervisor will then receive the module syllabus for the second part of your practice runs.
Another 500 km of self-training
Theory exam

The observation drive, perfection course and exam preparation (6 lessons) will be arranged after your theory exam. Afterwards you can take the practical exam!
